Grays Court is one of York’s hidden gems and I love hearing people’s reactions after they’ve discovered it for the first time. The garden is just gorgeous with amazing views of York Minster. Inside, the boutique interiors combine sympathetically with the building’s history and heritage. I’ve photographed some weddings there as well as used it as a location for my popular business portrait days so was delighted to be asked if I could update the image portfolio for the venue’s website. The key focus was to capture a sense of the gardens and two of the key rooms – The Gallery and The Bow Room.
Here are some favourites from the shoot and if you haven’t already paid a visit I hope these images will make you want to!
