LIFESTYLE BRAND PHOTOGRAPHY
NAKED DYE
It always wonderful to work with a client to support the launch of a business and so I loved this lifestyle and brand photography commission for Naked Dye. Naked Dye creates a gorgeous range of handmade textile goods including table linens and aprons. The pieces are all hand dyed using natural ingredients. The resulting colours are just stunning and I love that this process means that every piece is unique. One of the ingredients used is avocado stones which produces the beautiful dusky pink colour. I absolutely love that the main bulk of avocado stones used come from my home turf cafe The Pig and Pastry on Bishy Road.
Business owner and creative Kasia has already achieved fantastic interest through her beautiful Instagram page. Just before launch she was in enki magazine in Volume 4 for their Meet the Maker feature which used some of the images from our styled lifestyle shoot.
Images were taken across 2 shoots. The first was focused around lifestyle model images to showcase the pieces as well as a series of styled table set ups and flay lays. The second shoot focused on styled product images.
A huge thank you to Sandburn Hall near York for allowing us to use their beautiful space for the shoots. An extra special thank you to Clare who modelled on the first shoot and provided styling support.
Here are some favourite images from the shoots:
