This is the latest shoot in a series of commissions for Yorkshire producers and makers. Recent shoots have seen me documenting the work of jewelers, bakers, farmers and a particular favourite, brewers.
I spent a day with Geoff and Carl from Wensleydale brewery last week capturing a sense of the brewery at work but also with some more staged lifestyle images for promotional and marketing purposes. The brewery is based near Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales and the guys are the youngest brewery owners in the country. After photographing on site in we then headed out in the van to take advantage of some great locations including The Foresters Arms in Carlton-in-Coverdale which is where the brewery was originally based. The day ended up with some lifestyle shots to support the branding of Wensleydale’s Gamekeeper Ale.
I offer photography shoots tailored for the small or start-up producer or maker. Perfect for food producers, breweries, craftspeople, farmers, artists. The session is designed to give you a great portfolio of images to support the promotion and marketing of your business. A shoot would typically include documentary coverage of work in process, some environmental portraits to give a sense of the person behind the product and a series of more styled shots of products and creations.
