Although Spring is fast approaching I’m going to take you back into the depths of Winter for an amazing Christmas wedding held at gorgeous Swinton Park in Masham in North Yorkshire on 20th December. Choosing a late afternoon ceremony Rebecca & James envisaged a really opulent candle list atmosphere full of sparkly lights. This vision was supported by the brilliant work of Twisted Willow Floristry with the highlight being the Christmas Trees panning down the length of the main corridor. The effect (and smell!) was amazing.
My day started capturing all of the girls getting ready in the wonderful Wensleydale Suite. Rebecca had chosen four bridemaids including her two daughters. The girls were so excited about the day and it was wonderful to document them getting ready. James was supported by his twin brother as best man. The civil ceremony was held in the library which was full to the rafters of candles and beautiful floral details. Music was provided by a great Gospel Choir and the couple walked out to ‘All you Need is Love’ with a hint to the film ‘Love Actually’.
After the drinks reception everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal in the beautifully decorated restaurant. Speeches followed after which the couple led their guests to their ‘nightclub’ in the foyer area for dancing and entertainment by The Night Jars. Huge congratulations again to you both x
